About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement respiratory care interventions, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in respiratory care or related field.
- RCP license in good standing.
- RRT credential issued by the NBRC (within 12 months of hire) or CRT credential issued by the NBRC (prior to January 1, 2023).
- BLS certification issued by the AHA.
