Integrated Respiratory Solutions is expanding our Clinical Respiratory Team; we are looking for a Respiratory Therapist for our Homecare and Specialty Hospital Programs for our pediatric and adult patients. Integrated Respiratory has a 30-year history of strong patient care and white glove service, focusing on complex respiratory care for adults and pediatrics for Invasive and Non-Invasive (NIV) ventilation. We are looking for a multi-talented Respiratory Therapist to improve our patient’s quality of life, improve health and reduce hospital readmissions with our Specialty Disease Management programs.
Our Respiratory Therapists enjoy 8-hour shifts - Monday through Friday, with overtime paid after 8 hours, will also be part of the on-call rotation.

Respiratory Therapists must have dependable, insured transportation. Integrated Respiratory Solutions offers a generous IRS rate mileage reimbursement.
Respiratory Therapists Responsibilities:
- Clinical management of complex respiratory patients and equipment for invasive and non-invasive ventilation (NIV), vest therapy, cough assist and other specialty respiratory equipment in hospital, clinics, SNF and private home settings
- Assists when necessary to obtain authorization for referrals
- Shows adequate knowledge of respiratory equipment and ability to utilize it
- Displays knowledge of assessment skills and can apply these skills during setup and assessment of the patient
- Provide education on respiratory disease management, medication, and equipment to patients and caregivers
- Reviews treatment/care plans to assure accuracy
- Complete clinical assessment plans with proper documentation
- Documents procedures, patient tolerance, side effects, and other pertinent information
- Continued follow-up of patient’s conditions to determine their level of risk based on patient acuity
- Assists with maintaining patient supply inventory
- Perform in-services to hospital staff, referrals, physicians, and caregivers
- Adequate knowledge of use and adherence to procedures for use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow up with referral sources, and physician’s regarding patient status when necessary
- Assume on-call responsibilities
- Accurate and detailed electronic patient documentation
- Participate with ongoing education and training for skills, competency and products
Respiratory Therapist Position Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Illinois State License, additional licenses are a plus.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain vehicle insurance
- Candidates with COPD and disease management experience is preferred
- Candidates with home health background is preferred
- Ability to frequently lift to 50 lbs. while transporting equipment to patient’s homes
- Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening.
