About the Role
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities
- Competently operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies.
- Accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure exam accuracy.
- Position patients and select proper transducers for ultrasound procedures.
- Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians.
Requirements
- Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS).
- Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by the ARDMS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
