Job Description
This Radiology Technologist role involves working as part of a team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess intermediate computer skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Competently perform radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting exposure factors.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm understanding.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Maintain patient records and enter information into the radiology information system.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday.
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards, requiring personal protective equipment as necessary.
