About the Role:
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the success of our diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities:
- Competently perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, and confirming patient understanding.
- Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Identify patient information, label images, and process radiographs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with Radiologists, preparing and maintaining records according to regulatory requirements.
- Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing proper technique and adhering to physical demands.
Requirements:
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
