What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at Pride Health?
Pride Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Communication: Prepares and positions patients for radiologic/fluoroscopic procedures, explains exams, obtains medical history, ensures comfort and safety, and maintains excellent communication and customer service throughout.
- Imaging Procedures & Accuracy: Performs diagnostic imaging using proper protocols and safety measures (e.g., ALARA), ensures accurate image capture with correct identification, annotations, and minimal repeats, and reviews images for diagnostic quality.
- Technology & Documentation: Operates imaging systems and software (PACS, EPIC), manages orders, archives images, records fluoro time/skin exposure, and ensures timely and complete documentation of all procedures.
- Team Collaboration & Workflow: Works closely with radiologists, providers, and team members for exam guidance and throughput, assists with patient transport and room turnover, and helps maintain efficiency across the department.
- Leadership & Support: Mentors new staff and students, supports onboarding and training, participates in shift rotations and on-call coverage, and assists with troubleshooting and reporting equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program
- An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field
- ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology.
- Current State of WI license as a Radiographer
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.

Pay Range: $65 per hour (Negotiable)
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
