Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently operate radiology equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
- Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate image capture.
- Process images, labeling them according to patient information, and compare requisitions to physician's orders to ensure exam accuracy.
Requirements:
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
