Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Implement respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy, to support patient recovery and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to lift 50 lb object from knee to waist and perform other physical demands of the job.
