Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to work independently with reliability, responsibility, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a wide variety of general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts ultrasound procedures in compliance with ultrasound protocol.
* Ensure a secure and safe patient and work environment.
* Provide technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest ultrasound developments and obtain required continuing education credits.
Requirements:
* Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Ultrasound.
* Registered in Abdomen or OB and must be registered within one year of hire.
* RVT registry preferred.
* CPR certification.
* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and use patient handling equipment when necessary.
