What are the responsibilities and job description for the AAE Ops Mgr position at Advocate Aurora?
Reports to Exec Dir Operations AAE (Advocate Aurora Enterprises) and supports key operational activities. Supports, and leads as appropriate, category teams in the design and execution of integrating portfolio company products and solutions across Advocate Aurora Enterprises and into Advocate Aurora Health. Provides administrative focus for leading the development, implementation, integration, and adoption of new processes, systems, and synergies. Provides leadership, high level collaboration, and best practice approaches in achieving operational efficiencies within AAE.
Accountabilities:
- Provides operational and strategic support for all functional areas reporting to the Executive Director of AAE. This includes leading special projects, strategic priorities, alignment and integration between functions, financial management, and growth activities.
- Program manage key projects designed to create in~house capabilities or infrastructure within AAE. Representative examples include enabling cross~category synergy, modern data design and planning, or external/consulting partnership projects.
- Support value driver definition during integration, and lead value driver realization via planning and implementation oversight across all functional teams for all deals.
- Facilitate synergy prioritization, sequencing, and planning with category leadership.
- Serve as integration expert including processes, tools and software. Support continuous improvement of integration management methodologies, tools, and best practices while overseeing the implementation and standardization of improvements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing work processes
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Typically requires 7 years of experience in in operations, project management, management consulting or similar roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of integration methodologies, project/program management methods, and analytical tools and methodologies.
- Skills and demonstrated experience in establishing excellent collaborative working relationships and strategic partnering with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise, including executive leadership, to achieve a shared vision, values and objectives.
- Strong facilitation and persuasion skills with ability to influence others.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with evidence of being a strong team player.
- Skills and demonstrated experience in providing consultation, developing, facilitating and leading strategic, large~scale initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Skills in prioritizing programs and initiatives based on changing needs, strategic direction, resource capacity and risk exposure.
- Experience in business case / value proposition development, business analysis, resource planning, reporting, prioritization and budgeting.
- Ability to recognize issues/risks, escalate as appropriate, identify alternatives, and collaborate with leadership on issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Ability to manage a high number of high priority work streams concurrently.
