What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENTIAL PROJECT MANAGER position at AEC National Recruiters?
Representing a leader in the residential construction industry, we are searching for an experienced residential construction project manager to join their team.
You will be asked to provide a projects list documenting your residential experience in the 6,000 sq.ft. (MINIMUM) arena.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Compiling and planning budgets, cost estimates and other financial estimates; and coordinating, planning, and managing schedules for contractors and subcontractors
- Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality standards; and developing construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workers
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project; and negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Allocating and managing resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
- Ordering and managing materials and equipment, and providing internal reporting and projections for inventory
- Performing the tasks of a cost estimator, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, and managing the budget and estimate costs
- Supervising construction project progress and providing reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments
- Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
