Architectural Construction Administrator
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architectural Construction Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the link between design and construction teams, ensuring the successful execution of architectural projects from pre-construction through project closeout. Your expertise in architecture, construction administration, problem-solving, and communication will help uphold the design intent and maintain project quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Administration: Oversee the implementation of design documents during construction, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and codes.
- Site Observation: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between architects, contractors, and clients to resolve construction-related questions and ensure project objectives are met.
- Documentation: Review and process RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and other construction-related documents in a timely manner.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that materials, workmanship, and installations meet the specified design standards and project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address construction challenges by collaborating with stakeholders and proposing viable solutions.
- Closeout Coordination: Facilitate project closeout, including punch lists, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in architectural construction administration or a very similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and best practices.
- Experience with construction administration tools, such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Architectural license or working towards licensure is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or institutional projects.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
