MCM is currently seeking to fill the role of our construction office administrator. We maintain a high-energy, goal-driven office atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is someone who is dynamic, positive, has a high attention to detail and organization, and someone who is willing to continually learn and evolve their skills to better themselves and the team, bringing us both to higher levels of efficiency and accomplishment.
The ideal candidate either owns their own company to perform services on a 1099 level or would not be requiring health benefits through the position.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUMMARY OVERVIEW:
Our office is youthful, yet highly experienced. With the many details of custom building and the demands of an ever-changing real estate market, we are needing this position to be a “home base/in office” support. Someone that can take information and complete delegated tasks through our systems and do so with organization and efficiency. As we quickly grow and diversify, we are looking for a person that is up for this challenge
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Maintain and track monthly invoicing and construction draw schedules on projects under construction
- Interacting with title companies and lenders to fulfill monthly draws
- Prepare and review required documents for accuracy and completeness.
· Work within G-Mail, BuilderTrend and Microsoft Excel to collect invoice amounts for draw
· Ensure strict confidentiality regarding all business and client matters/documents
· Assisting in office communication
· Office supply ordering when applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Experience in residential construction draws preferred
· Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel)
· Self-motivated/multi-tasking team player
· Ability to work in fast-paced environment with heavy workload
· Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changes in priorities
· Good math skills and strong attention to detail
· Familiarity with constriction terminology is a plus
· Experience with BuilderTrend software is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· This job operates in a professional office environment
· This role regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, cell phones, filing cabinets and
printers/scanners
· This position requires the ability to lift file folders and open file cabinets
· Employers are frequently required to sit and stand at desk space
· This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
