As a leader in providing telecommunications, we specialize in providing installation, maintenance, and emergency repair support to telecommunications companies. Our Field Technicians are customer focused, self-motivated and provide multi-service for the area of Field Installation and Repair.
What You'll Do Here:
- Safety Conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for fiber to the home in customer’s homes and businesses.
- Troubleshooting and repair support for Internet, and Phone Service.
- Install and repair support for Internet and fiber networks.
- Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis.
- Be highly adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures.
- Provision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber networks.
- Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis.
- Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction.
- Highly adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Previous customer in home installation and repair experience of any services such as, cable, Satellite TV, phone, or internet.
- Experience with Fiber is an asset but not required.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract annually.
- Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in varying heights and spaces.
- Capacity to lift and work with materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Technically inclined and have a desire to learn.
- Must be comfortable working at heights with ladders or bucket truck (training will be provided).
- Occasional travel may be required.
