- Determining the staffing and budget necessary to implement the Project Quality Assurance Plan;
- Providing input to project proposals;
- Preparing Project Quality Assurance Plans and Quality Assurance procedures and instructions based upon the corporate Quality Program and any project unique quality requirements;
- Monitoring expenditures of the quality personnel assigned to the project;
- Planning, scheduling and controlling the quality assurance and quality control activities on the project;
- Assuring the implementation and enforcement of the requirements of the Project Quality Assurance Plan;
- Providing for the indoctrination and training of project personnel in the subjects of quality assurance and quality control;
- Providing coordination for audits performed of the project;
- Issuing Corrective Action Requests and Stop Work Orders when required; and
- Providing status reports to the Project Manager and Director - Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a Quality/Manufacturing leadership/management role.
- Expertise in Quality Assurance Programs and processes
- Expertise in manufacturing and project quality and delivery environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field.
- Experience in developing and/or managing audit systems.
- Experience managing a robust stakeholder group including client, suppliers, alliance partners, and employees
- Continuous improvement and the use of process improvement methodologies
- Understands design and manufacturing and nuclear quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into business action plans.
