Job Description:
A leading textile manufacturer is expanding their offering to include furniture (tables, chairs, cabinets, sofas and ottomans).
We have specialized in B2B for the last 20 years and our new brand specializes in Direct-To-Consumer.
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for inspections, creating work instructions, identifying defects, resolving nonconformances and supporting continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee inspections of incoming product within the distribution center, maintaining records and reporting issues to the quality and business teams.
- Recommend improvements to inspection methods, frequency, and processes based on data analysis.
- Ensure high-integrity records management, including documentation review, archiving, and generating reports.
- Lead local Quality projects, optimize workflows with Distribution Managers, and implement proper procedures.
- Participate in daily DC manager meetings and cross-location Quality meetings to provide updates.
- Enhance team performance through cross-training, regular feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
- Analyze data and improve quality standards.
- Ensure proper product packaging per customer requirements and company standards.
- Manage decisions on non-conforming product disposition and maintain department SOPs.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
- Apply and audit the Global Recycling Standard (GRS) within the department.
- Travel to Texas to meet with leadership team quarterly.
