Position Overview
We have an opening for a full time Quality Specialist located in our Bakersfield, CA office! This is a great role for a highly organized person who enjoys interacting with employees! This position comes with generous PTO and full benefits!
- Receive & enter technician certifications in Personnel Certification Files for the AIS West/ Central and East Groups for current employees and new employees. These will include training and experience hours, and previous certifications.
- Create technician Certificaiton Page and qualification documentation.
- Create certificates of training for classes attended
- Generate and distribute to management reports regarding employee certifications status as needed.
- Perform onboarding training to new employees as it applies to training, document access, and additional information as requested.
- Proctor examination for qualifications, in-house examinations and NCCER Operator Qualification program. Others may be added.
- Assist HR in the On-boarding process and termination process for employees.
- Primary point of access for the ISNetworld portal for Operator Qualifications. Assist clients with verification of employee’s skills. Upload supporting documentation of the employee’s skills.
- Aid in maintaining documents, written procedures, codes and technician certification on the company’s chosen platform (ie: sharepoint, or SiteDocs)

Pay range for this position is $25 - $30 per hour. Pay range for this job level is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Education and Work Experience
- High School and Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong Computer Skills Required
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 5 years experience in a quality administrative role.
- Experience with Operator Qualifications and NCCER, Veriforce, ISNetworld preferred.
Certificates and Licenses Required
- Preferred: NCCER Proctor Training
