The ideal candidate will effectively manage assigned claims and provide claims services and advice to AEGIS and its Members-Policyholders.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience in insurance claims or a related legal field, with expertise in coverage analysis, litigation procedures, and management/negotiation of large and/or complex claims. A law degree from an ABA accredited school and admission to a state bar are preferred. Professional insurance designations and working knowledge of the energy industry are also desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Additionally, the ability to effectively present to varied audiences is essential.

- Evaluate liability and damages in a timely and accurate manner.
- Establish and adjust UNL and NUNL reserves reflecting AEGIS' ultimate probable cost/exposure.
- Provide advice, technical assistance, and case management direction to insureds' claim professionals and defense attorneys.
