Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a leading packaging manufacturer located on the south side of Indianapolis who is seeking a Quality Manager. We are targeting an experienced and dynamic Quality Manager with at least 5 years of management experience in quality control. You will oversee a team of 4 quality assurance professionals, ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in packaging or food and beverage manufacturing, a proven track record in maintaining quality standards, implementing process improvements, internal and external audits, and ensuring that all operations align with industry regulations and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team of 4 quality control professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s quality management system (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage quality audits, both internal and external, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues, ensuring swift resolution to maintain production timelines.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality control processes, analyzing data to identify areas of improvement.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to senior management.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage the mitigation of potential quality-related risks.
• Ensure the proper documentation of quality-related issues and resolutions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
