We seek a Business Development (BD) support specialist to support a nationally distributed business development team. This position will process bids, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support the broader business development team. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. An ideal candidate would have administrative experience in the construction industry or with a business-to-business sales team.

About The Role
We seek a Business Development (BD) support specialist to support a nationally distributed business development team. This position will process bids, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support the broader business development team. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. An ideal candidate would have administrative experience in the construction industry or with a business-to-business sales team.
General Responsibilities Include
- Bid Processing: Responsible for processing bid proposals for multiple regions.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Responsible for adding and updating opportunities within Salesforce.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to a geographically distributed team to facilitate the overall business development group's operations.
- Content Management: Assist in the collection and maintenance of the scope library, which includes resumes and past performance records, to ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and available.
- Business Development Research: Assist the business development team by providing directed searches through LinkedIn SalesNavigator, ZoomInfo, DodgePipeline, and other relevant sites.
- Conferences and Events: Assist in the coordination of business development events and conferences.
- Data Management: Assist with archiving proposal content and uploading to appropriate internal databases or servers as part of proposal closeout procedures promptly according to division standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of relevant hands-on experience as an Admin
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize your time to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong ability to communicate--verbally and written--clearly, concisely, and logically.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
- Proven ability to work well independently or in a team environment
- Proficiency in data mining, searches
- Experience using SalesForce, PandaDocs, and DodgePipeline a plus
