What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firmware Engineer position at Aegis Search?
I am currently recruiting for a firmware engineer to join a defense business in Columbia, Maryland. You will be working in a new product development team alongside electrical and mechanical engineers, and will be working on a number of different projects at any one time. You will be working for a business that has won a large numbers of contracts in recent years and due to continued success have grown significantly.
This role would suit a candidate who wants to work in a start up style environment, whilst having the security of long term contracts and an established client list. You will be encouraged to work autonomously, take risks to solve difficult technical problems, and continuously push yourself and others to create great products that have a real world impact.
You need to be eligible for Secret security clearance for this role - you do not need to be currently cleared. However, it is beneficial if you hold active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
The base salary for this role is in the region of $150k - $200k, with health coverage on top. You will be working on a hybrid basis, in their office based in Columbia, Maryland.
