Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Ability to make sound strategic decisions though the use of business information and financial data that align with the company’s goals.
- Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Develop financial and operational solutions in response to projected changing economic conditions and business environments.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Manage project accounting practices, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project costs and revenues.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets, financial metrics and A/R & A/P practices.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and work with operations to optimize processes and resources.
- Able to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for financing, contracts, vendor and, customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Ability to assist with operational changes that drive economic value by communicating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to the executive team and owners.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and investors.
- Use financial software and data analytics tools, including ERP systems and business intelligence platforms to drive financial insights and performance improvements.
- Drive initiatives for process improvement within the finance department and across the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, Finance second preference, or a related field but only with a combined significant level of experience.
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a focus on project accounting and the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and financial implications.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, with strong Excel skills.
- MBA, CMA or CPA
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
