Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation to join our engineering team. This role goes beyond traditional controls work—you’ll be designing, programming, and deploying cutting-edge automation systems across our production lines. You’ll work hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and smart sensors to drive efficiency, consistency, and innovation throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems including PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Integrate and configure industrial robotics, sensors, and vision systems for automated applications
- Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces for real-time monitoring and operator interaction
- Troubleshoot and optimize machine performance using data-driven approaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, production) to support automation projects from concept to deployment
- Ensure all automation solutions meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
- Experience with robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, UR) and machine vision
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics and control panel design
