Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing products and creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CATIA and/or SolidWorks. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to contribute to innovative projects and grow their skills in product design and engineering.
This position is not open to candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior design engineers and product teams to design, prototype, and improve mechanical components and assemblies.
- Use CATIA and/or SolidWorks to create 3D models, detailed technical drawings, and renderings of products.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all designs.
- Conduct design analysis, such as tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and basic stress analysis.
- Ensure designs meet required specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
- Participate in design reviews, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design and manufacturing issues.
- Maintain organized design documentation and ensure that all design files are properly versioned and archived.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to improve design and product development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CATIA and/or SolidWorks for product design and modeling.
- Experience creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
