Key Responsibilities :

  • Drill and tap holes in thick metal pieces using a manual mill, ensuring precise grooves for threading.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints to determine exact specifications for custom machinery and enclosures.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
  • Collaborate with a team to meet production deadlines while maintaining top-notch quality.

    • What You Bring to the Table :

  • Experience : 2–3 years in a machining, fabricator, or drilling technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills : Expertise in manual mill operations, drilling, and tapping metal components.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to read blueprints and ensure precise, high-quality results.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work overtime and support other departments when needed.

    • Compensation & Schedule :

  • Pay Rate : $23–$24 / hour (with overtime opportunities).
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM.
  • Location : Itasca, IL.
