What are the responsibilities and job description for the Layout Technician position at EleMech, Inc.?
Aurora, IL based electrical control system manufacturing company is currently seeking a layout technician. We specialize in the design, manufacture, and implementation of control systems for industrial applications.
Desired Skills Include:
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
- Ability to install components as shown on electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with the following tools: Drill, Band saw, Stud welder, Tape measure, Screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret enclosure layout drawings, and lists.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work with control system engineers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of shop and safety regulations.
- Good attendance and safe work practices.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
