Position Summary:
Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing firm in the Youngsville, NC area who is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials through the production process, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy and SAP system usage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement, tracking, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility.
- Monitor inventory levels to support production schedules and avoid material shortages or overages.
- Maintain accurate data in SAP, including goods receipts, material transfers, and inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes; investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Track open orders and expedite material delivery as required to meet production timelines.
- Prepare reports and dashboards using SAP and Excel to support planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory control, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP for inventory and materials management.
- Strong understanding of material flow, warehousing, and production processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production needs.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems beyond SAP.
- Forklift certification or experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
