Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing conventional sub-performing and non-performing loan workout and foreclosure activities, along with a wide range of non-monetary loan level and collateral level issues.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Analyze troubled loans, develop and implement strategies for resolution of clients’ assets in adherence with the servicing standard intent on maximizing the return on investment for the client
- Evaluate Borrowers’ requests and determine acceptable solutions while maximizing the return on investment for the client
- Provide a full range of underwriting services and support for assigned assets as well as in collaboration with other team members’ assets
- Effectively and efficiently communicate the essence of recommendations (written and oral) to the real estate investment committee and to other internal parties
- Keep abreast of relevant issues relating to markets, commercial real estate (CRE) trends, CRE legal issues and enforcement options
- Proactively communicate any issues that materially impact asset-level risk and relationships with clients
- May include supervision responsibilities of interns
- Responsible for special projects assigned by Team Leader or Department Head
- Strive to be a role model for the group by meeting the evolving needs of our customers, shareholders, employees and business partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business or related field
- Five years of relevant experience, in underwriting/analysis, negotiation and presentations, with specific experience in real estate debt and/or real estate equity products
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skill
- Expertise with MS Excel, and basic structuring of real estate transactions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Argus software
