What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Research Specialist position at Aequita Bioworks?
We are seeking a highly effective, motivated operator to join our Operations Research team. You will help with recruiting and own the testing business line for third party partners. This role will be highly collaborative and requires the ability to communicate and coordinate with peers and supervisors effectively and respectfully. This role will involve designing assays and conducting hands-on lab work, data analysis, and presentation.

- BS degree or greater in related field with 2 years of industry experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of USP 797 and potency / endotoxin testing
- Experience with pharmacy compounding
- 1 years of experience at a tele-health / biotech startup
- Team player with excellent problem solving skills and an astute attention for detail
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- Prior experience with HPLC liquid chromatography
- Prior experience interviewing for senior roles at early stage startups
- Knowledge of the drug development process
- Basic command of Python, SQL, or similar
- Implement and scale our potency testing service for third party pharmacies
- Interview scientists and collaborate with team on drug discovery process
- Attend weekly lab meetings and assist with problem solving
- This is an in-person role in San Carlos, CA
- The compensation range for this role is $180,000-200,000 along with equity options in the company and benefits
