A school services speech language pathologist is needed to provide a vital support role for students in the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized communication plans to meet the unique needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Conduct evaluations, observations, and assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve students' communication skills.
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group sessions.
Requirements:
- Clinical fellowship or certification in speech-language pathology from ASHA.
- Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably with diverse populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
Working Conditions:
- This position will be based in the local contract location, Odessa, Delaware.
- Duration: 17 weeks, 35 hours per week, 8 hours a day, days only.
