LOCATION:
On-site at JFB must be within driving distance of JFB
SCHEDULE:
Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday - Friday 7:00-3:00pm, summer hours will be 7:00-3:45 M-Thursday with half days on Friday.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Material & Stockroom Coordinator to support both material procurement and stockroom operations for ***. This role is responsible for managing materials for a designated platform while also overseeing stockroom inventory and purchasing needs at the JFB Technical Center. The position requires strong organizational skills, ability to navigate internal systems, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to pivot between material coordination and stockroom responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material Coordination Responsibilities:
Place and track material orders to support platform needs.
Collaborate with scheduling, OA, transportation, plants, R&D developers, and FSQ team to ensure seamless material flow.
Perform inventory and age management on ingredients.
Follow up on late purchase orders (POs) to minimize disruptions.
Ensure materials are on-site when needed for pilot plant and lab operations.
Provide coverage for other material coordinators during vacations.
Stockroom Coordination Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site point of contact for managing inventory, coordinating with vendors and partners (Vestis, Fastenal, Lifeworks), and support indirect purchasing needs (supplies, uniforms, groceries, and one-time purchases).
Maintain accurate inventory levels using Coupa, Maximo, and preferred vendor systems.
Develop and execute daily inventory plans and workflow requirements.
Lead all stockroom activities, including a monthly meeting with the Lifeworks team.
Create annual purchase orders for JFB services and approve invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• 2-3 years of relevant stockroom management experience
• Proficiency or ability to learn key systems: MSP, SAP, Blue Yonder, Coupa, and Maximo.
• Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proactive communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, leading stockroom operations and material coordination efforts.
• Ability to pivot between tasks and respond to shifting project timelines.
• Experience in purchasing or logistics is a plus.
• Potential for future cross-training in Medallion Replenishment support.
• Strong emphasis on safety and collaboration within a diverse team environment.
