We are seeking a scientist to join our Systems Immunology Lab in ***'s Inflammation & Immunology Research Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and processing single-cell, spatial, and functional genomics data, as well as supporting standard immunoprofiling activities such as cell culture and flow cytometry.

We are seeking a scientist to join our Systems Immunology Lab in ***'s Inflammation & Immunology Research Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and processing single-cell, spatial, and functional genomics data, as well as supporting standard immunoprofiling activities such as cell culture and flow cytometry.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow existing lab standard operating procedures to:
- Participate in sample collection of murine and human tissues, including the preparation of tubes, interfacing with in vivo scientists to retrieve samples, isolation of primary immune cells, and standard mammalian cell culture
- Participate in sample preparation of murine and human tissues, including tissue fixation, dissociation, sectioning, and antibody staining
- Generate spatial and single-cell data via a number of commercial workflows, including 10x Genomics and Parse Technologies
- Interpreate quality control metrics for spatial, single-cell and cytometry experiments
- Reports to a scientific director of the Systems Immunology Lab
- Collaborates with and supports several multi-disciplinary experimental teams on a per-project basis
- MA 3 years of experience in Biology, Immunology, or a related field
- 3 years of hands-on experience with standard immunoprofiling technologies, including
- Flow Cytometry
- Single-cell library preparation (ideally 10x Genomics or Parse Technology)
- Preparation and loading of Illumina sequencing libraries
- Bonus: generation of spatial transcriptomics data (any technology)
- 3 years of experience with primary immune cells, including
- Primary immune cell isolation
- Maintenace of immune cell lines
- Cell culture and in vitro stimulation of primary immune cells
- Bonus: experience with CRISPR mediated functional genomics, including electroporation of primary immune cells
