Important Notes for Hiring Purposes:
· When reviewing resumes, what stands out to you when looking for the right applicants? A Research background in biology, preferably cancer biology or genetics. Mammalian cell culture and basic laboratory skills such as western blotting and familiarity with genetic editing techniques such as CRISPR. This role is typically PhD-trained individuals. Individuals whose background is in non-mammalian systems (e.g., drosophila and e coli) would require extensive training and unlikely to be selected for the role.
· What is your minimum education and years of work experience you think it suitable for this role? A newly graduated biomedical PhD-trained student or master’s degree with at least 2 years of mammalian biomedical research experience will be successful in this role. Would consider lower education with 4 years of drug discovery experience.
Salary : $40 - $42
