What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field operator position at Aera Energy Services Company?
We are looking for two Oil Field operators for our Valley Wells team. The location for these positions may be Midway Sunset or Belridge.
The work schedule for these positions is a 12-hr (5 / 4) daylights.
Requirements :
- Operating and maintaining production related equipment throughout the valley.
- Utilize company business systems to perform daily responsibilities.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to complete daily responsibilities.
- Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance activities to support equipment reliability.
- Perform job duties with minimal oversite
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
- Ensure company policies and procedures are met
- Interface with customers / suppliers to complete daily responsibilities
- Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement opportunities to improve operation
- Ensure clear and timely communication around operational opportunities
- Maintain equipment in a clean and good working order state
- Must be available for call outs, overtime, holidays and / or during emergency situations as business needs dictate
- Driving to well sites is required (work truck will be provided).Driving may include paved or off-road, various weather conditions, and occasional night driving,
- Navigate uneven surfaces
- Discretionary lifting, no greater than 50 pounds without assistance
- Working outdoors with tools
- Climbing of steps, stairwells, hills to sites, etc.
- Able to work in an outdoor field environment
- Able to wear personal protective equipment when required
Required Skills
- Ability to work within business systems through either computer based, or app based, such as MS Outlook, Zoom, Trello, and various navigation apps
- Basic knowledge of oilfield field operations as required for job
- Organization skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in oilfield operations or a related field
- Valid Driver license
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in oilfield operations or a related field
- Ability to work within business systems through either computer based, or app based, such as MS Outlook, Zoom, Trello, and various navigation apps
- Basic knowledge of oilfield field operations as required for job
- Organization skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
