Description
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility. This individual will perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment as well as assisting with facility maintenance tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of facility areas, including floors, bathrooms, and common spaces, following established sanitation procedures.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning ceiling vents, light fixtures, walls, and other hard-to-reach areas.
- Prepare areas for cleaning by moving or covering furniture, equipment, and other items as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including painting, patching walls, and basic plumbing tasks.
- Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, solutions, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with other departments to assist with additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as required.
- Complete sanitation logs and documentation to track cleaning activities and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or GED required.- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- An ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment, including brooms, mops, and trash receptacles.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and maintain focus on detail-oriented duties for extended periods.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to successfully register as an agent in state’s cannabis commission.
- Must adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
