What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Quality Engineer position at Aero Bending Company?
- Support and implement the Quality System including compliance to the Quality Policy and all applicable AS9100 procedures.
- Develop, document and implement methods, processes and procedures which enhance capability and improved quality and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain a measurement and tracking method, consistent with a continuous improvement program, with the goal of improving quality.
- Investigate, correct and close out all customer complaints, customer returns (RMA’s) and any customer corrective actions in a timely basis.
- Oversee Quality training of all manufacturing personnel to ensure that each employee has sufficient training to perform their job.
- Maintain supplier performance by tracking and initiate corrective measures as required.
- Review customer quality requirements.
- Manage all AS9100 activities acting as the company’s liaison and company’s representative during AS9100 audits and customer audits.

- Complete and return all customer surveys in a timely manner.
- Ensure all products being manufactured follow internal procedures.
- Perform internal and supplier audits as required.
- Maintain supplier performance by tracking and initiate corrective measures as required.
- Maintain the calibration systems by ensuring all measuring tools are properly maintained per the quality management system.
- Maintain shelf-life log and all shelf-life functions associated.
- Facilitate Management Review and Continual Improvement meetings as required.
- Support ABC’s cleaning department by performing necessary verification and testing of solutions and rinse tanks.
- Provide support of day-to-day activities as needed.
Salary : $48,600 - $70,000
