Full job description
The Parts Sales Representative / Expeditor will be responsible for all sales activities related to the company’s aircraft ground support equipment parts business. In addition to maintaining and growing the company’s existing relationships and sales activities, the sales rep will be responsible for adding new customers to the FBO, MRO, Airlines, etc. within the airline industry. Responsibility for the continued development of parts sales programs, and work with company marketing initiatives.
The primary emphasis for this position combines the responsibilities of selling spare parts to customers with the task of actively managing the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely delivery by coordinating inventory levels, production schedules, and customer expectations, effectively acting as a liaison between sales and operations to guarantee smooth order flow while continuing to maintain existing accounts and customers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Functions :
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the aviation industry including products, technologies, customers, and competitors.
- Identify and contact potential customers to generate new sales leads for parts.
Provide accurate pricing and product information to customers regarding available parts.
Expediting Functions :
Communicate order status updates to customers, including any potential delays or changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :
Strong understanding of the products and parts being sold, including their technical specifications and applications. A very good working knowledge of the aerospace industry is required
Excellent communication and abilities to build customer relationships and increase sales.
Knowledge of inventory management principles, order processing, and shipping procedures.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly. Maintain the highest ethical standards, open and honest communication, work with integrity and treat everyone with respect.
Familiarity with CRM systems, inventory management software, and other relevant sales and logistics tools including MS Office software.
Work Environment :
Primarily based in an office environment with regular interaction with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel.
