What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at AeroControlex?
AeroControlex is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. In this position you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory, drawings and purchase order requirements. This is a full-time position on 1st shift with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements
- Read blue prints and interpret source requirements
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities in products
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality control activities
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous Inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Previous blue print reading experience and understanding of GD&T
- Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently
- Previous experience in Aerospace/Automotive industry is a plus
