We have an immediate need to fill the Coordinator Traffic & Movements position at our Cleveland Hopkins International Airport location.
COORDINATOR TRAFFIC & MOVEMENT – CLEVELAND, OHIO
The CTM role is to ensure the total coordination of all pedestrians (maintenance), vehicle and aircraft movements on the de-icing pad in collaboration with the airport authority, and the Operations Manager. With the goal of ensuring the safe transit of all persons, vehicles, and aircraft on the deicing pad. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent oral communication skills. Possess the ability to make quick decisions under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordinate the traffic movements of all aircrafts and de-icing vehicles on the deicing pad, as well as any pedestrian movements.
- Responsible for transmitting all directives coming from the Airport Control Tower; Nav Canada and SGAT (Ground Control & Apron Control).
- Responsible for the daily verification of all systems in the control tower (computers, communications, etc.)
- Follow up on the diesel tanks and natural gas reservoir quantities; Place orders for diesel and perform the inventory.
- Coordinate the operations of the snow removal team.
- Follow up on the Tower incidents/accidents files and reports; Documentation for ADHOC de-icing demands.
- Ability to collect, organize, and communicate specified data for input to support recovery & recycling efforts.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs/software. Ability to collaboratively work with managerial staff and/or various departments to support administrative functions or other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a current/valid US Driver’s License.
- Be able to pass Airport Security background check and mandatory drug screen.
- Ability to meet all physical requirements necessary to perform job duties.
