- Oversee Receiving Operations: Lead the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of all incoming shipments.
- Inspect Shipments: Verify quantity, quality, and condition of aircraft parts and materials upon arrival, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of received items, including certifications, packing slips, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with procurement, quality control, and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.
- Inventory Management: Ensure received items are properly labeled, stored, and tracked in inventory management systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all receiving operations adhere to FAA, OSHA, and company-specific aviation regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in receiving operations.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise and mentor receiving personnel, providing guidance and training on proper procedures and safety standards.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or receiving operations, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation parts, materials, and FAA regulations regarding receiving and inspections.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and work in a fast-paced environment. "Flightstar is an equal opportunity employer.
