Description

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Receiver    

Pay range: $22 - $26 hourly

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Review and inspect incoming receipts from vendors, checking Bill of Lading/Packing Lists quantities (piece counts), and package damage. 
  • Verify products meet purchase order requirements.
• Review and inspect vendor certifications against purchase order and specification requirements.
• Perform real time systematic transactions for receiving material and moving material.
• Identify products by tagging or other methods to ensure traceability.
•  Ensure products in stores and inventory are adequately protected against damage and deterioration.
• Maintain an organized and productive stores and inventory area.
• Unload vehicles and storage containers onto staging areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Sort and stack material to be palletized for movement to designated staging areas.
• Perform other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Ability to use a computer and perform data entry functions.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience:  2 years in warehouse receiving

Training: On the job training.
