What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver position at MI Windows and Doors?
A Mid-Day Swing Receiver position in Sacramento, CA is available at MI Windows and Doors at our Distribution Center. You must have one plus year of relevant experience with incoming inventory and exposure operating a Forklift. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all goods and materials, both raw material and finished goods.
The compensation is $22 an hour. The position requires a start time of 12 : 15 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime required.

Receiver I job responsibilities include :
- Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MITER operating system, and Philosophy.
- Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
- Accurately code received goods to the proper account.
- Supply material as needed and / or requested to the production line and other departments. Accurately received goods to the proper account.
- Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory. Generate barcode labels as required.
- Keep all parts in responsibility adequately always stocked. Communicate with a supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials / supplies are running low.
- Incorporates MITER’s vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the MITER Guiding Principles.
- Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.
