What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Specialist position at Aeronautical Systems, Inc.?
Ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all shipments, received and sent, as well as proper packaging of all outgoing shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments for proper condition and contents/documentation included
- Routes items as needed and reports any shipment damage or discrepancies
- Maintains shipping and receiving records
- Preserves warehouse cleanliness and inventory organization, including shipping supplies maintenance
- Physically pulls parts from inventory and packages in accordance with commercial or military standards
- Operates warehouse equipment to move shipments and parts
- Determines method of shipment based on rates, routes, and other requirements
- Supports invoicing function
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in logistics
