Aerospace Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to drive business growth in the aerospace and defense sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly in areas such as space systems, satellite technologies, and national security.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and senior leadership, to capture new business, expand existing relationships, and drive long-term strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities within the space and defense sectors.
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies to drive revenue growth, including expanding into new markets and identifying key government and commercial contracts.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with potential customers, suppliers, and partners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the space, aerospace, or defense industry.
  • Experience working with government agencies (such as the DoD or NASA) and understanding government contracting processes.
  • Familiarity with proposal writing and contract management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the space and defense industry.
  • Experience with federal contracting regulations and processes.
  • Technical knowledge of space systems, satellite technologies, or defense systems.
