Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Aviation Technician to oversee the testing, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components while ensuring compliance with FAA Part 145 Repair Station standards. This role is responsible for managing production workflow, maintaining turnaround time (TAT) goals, and ensuring all work orders are complete and accurate. The Lead Technician will also have return-to-service authority and support quality assurance efforts.

This role is responsible for managing production workflow, maintaining turnaround time (TAT) goals, and ensuring all work orders are complete and accurate. The Lead Technician will also have return-to-service authority and support quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee testing, repair, and overhaul of Airframe Fuel Accessories, Engine Fuel Accessories, Engine Harnesses, Engine Mounts, and Interior Components for Executive and Commercial Aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, component maintenance manuals, and company quality standards.
- Manage workflow and production schedules to meet TAT and delivery requirements.
- Verify work order accuracy, ensuring proper documentation of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
- Approve return-to-service for completed components in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Utilize Smart145 software for tracking repairs, inspections, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians to uphold quality and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to address discrepancies and improve processes.
- 5 years of experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
- A&P certification preferred, but not required.
- Experience with FAA return-to-service procedures and work order documentation.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and testing procedures.
- Proven experience in workflow management and meeting TAT goals.
- Proficiency in Smart145 software for tracking and compliance preferred, but not required.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
