Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling airplane parts or similar, be proficient in forklift operation, and possess bilingual skills in both Spanish and English. The Warehouse Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient organization, inventory control, and timely shipping of our high-quality airplane parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload airplane parts and other warehouse materials.
- Inspect and verify airplane parts to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Manage inventory by accurately stocking and labeling parts and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment to customers or other locations, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with order processing and shipping documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Provide customer service support as needed, including coordinating with other team members for any product-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse setting, especially with airplane parts or related equipment.
- Proficient in operating a forklift (certification preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude toward safety and customer service.
