Job Summary
Aerospace Welding Minneapolis, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of incoming and outgoing goods while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day workload of the shipping department
- Prepare shipments for all Hartzell departments in accordance with customer requirements, applicable regulations, and carrier requirements
- Process shipments in Hartzell's customer order management system
- Communicate with carriers and schedule shipments
- Negotiate freight claims and represent the interests of Hartzell and Hartzell customers for reimbursement
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years related experience and training
- Certification to ship dangerous goods preferred
