What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler/Installer I position at Aerostar?
Essential Functions :
- Build assemblies using various tools and fixtures.
- Verify standards are correct and product meets required specifications according to blueprints or process instructions.
- May package products or assemblies, as needed.
- Inspect assemblies for defects during various stages of production.
- Perform tests on products as needed.
- Maintain applicable records.
- Demonstrates Aerostar's Guiding Principles.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
- Perform high quality work.
- Identify production related issues.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and / or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Physical Requirements : Required to sit, stand, and walk up to 10 hours. Required to bend and reach. Required to lift / carry up to 35 lbs. Required to push / pull up to 35 lbs. Required to use hand coordination to include the ability to grip and pinch. Required to climb. Working Conditions : A production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
