JOB TITLE: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
REPORTS TO: CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPERATIONS TEAM
JOB LOCATION: SEATAC, WA
POSITION TYPE: CONTRACT (APRIL TO OCTOBER)
HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00am-5:00pm
SALARY: $22-$24 HOURLY RATE; UP TO $3,000 RETENTION BONUS

Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role as a customer representative, to ensure expectations are met, by interacting with customers, third party vendors, and internal operations and warehouse teams. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers, third party vendors, and internal departments, via email, phone, and in person
- Follow up on any special instructions from customers, to ensure smooth operations
- Manage paperwork in a manner that prevents errors or omissions on outbound shipments
- Light billing duties
- Organize and assemble delivery paperwork
- Scan and upload proof of delivery documentation
- Bond management
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties, as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional customer service attitude as well as strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Previous logistics related work experience is a plus
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Punctual and flexible with work hours based on volume of work during busy seasons
- Ability to use sound judgment, discretion, and professional integrity
- Flexible and responsive to shifting responsibilities/deadlines
- Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college/university preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Due to the increase in the volume of work for the busy season, a willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
