What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locksmith Apprentice position at Aerotek?
Aerotek is looking to hire a locksmith apprentice at a great company with room for growth. Anyone with a strong mechanical aptitude is urged to apply!
Description:
Will be required to go around the campus to fix locking mechanisms on doors
This could be into dorm rooms or different facility buildings
Being able to use hand tools is a must and will be able to teach how to repair locks
Previous experience with locks is not required, someone who is good with taking apart and putting back together
There will be electronic key card access points that might need to be replaced.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints on how to rewire electrical access points with key cards
Knowledge or experience as a locksmith would be beneficial
good communication skills is needed to interact with staff, faculty and students
